In 1988 I went to my first acid house party just outside London. It was the most profound experience of my life. The interactive atmosphere on the dance floor with hundreds of people was infused with such joy, fun, freedom & love that I KNEW it could be done without the drugs.
Since that day & after many distractions & dog leg directions, I have still been diligently working towards my dream; to create that same interactive atmosphere between people, no fear, no status, no inhibitions, just unbridled fun & joy like a child.
I believe that I may have found the recipe for this. By mixing theatre warm-up games with my experience in facilitating dance workshops, I believe that this atmosphere can be reached. The potential therapeutic & cathartic consequences to this kind of interaction & dance cannot be quantified.
